Do you provide catering?

Catering is one of the most logistically complex parts of a corporate event, and one of the areas where poor coordination creates the most visible problems. We manage it end to end as part of our full-service offering.

We work with a network of caterers in Edmonton and Calgary who we have vetted through actual events. We know which caterers execute well at scale, which handle dietary requirements reliably, and which have the staffing to manage a 300-person seated dinner without delays. We do not recommend caterers we have not worked with directly.

The process: once the event format and headcount are confirmed, we brief caterers on your requirements and get competitive quotes. We present you with options that fit your budget and format — the right caterers for a working lunch conference are different from the right caterers for a black-tie gala. You make the final call; we manage everything from there.

Dietary management is something we take seriously. For events with 50 or more guests, we establish a dietary collection process as part of registration or RSVPs, brief the caterer on all requirements, and confirm that the caterer has a plan to track and serve each diet correctly on the day.

Bar service and liquor logistics are also part of what we manage — this includes confirming liquor licensing requirements, coordinating bartenders, and setting up service for the event format. Licensed events in Alberta have specific requirements that we handle directly.

We pass catering costs through at the actual vendor invoice. We do not mark up food and beverage costs. Our fee covers the coordination and management, not a commission on what you eat.
